Ok so if you wanna keep your kids safe on their phone or tablet, enabling parental controls is a must. It helps you block stuff they shouldn’t see, limit screen time, and stop accidental purchases or whatever. Here’s a quick easy way to set it up.


Why Parental Controls?

Well, parental controls let you control what your kid can do or see online so they dont get into trouble or see bad stuff. Also helps you keep track of what they’re doing on their device sometimes.


How to Enable Parental Controls on Android

  1. Open Google Play Store app

  2. Tap your profile pic on top right

  3. Go to Settings then Family then Parental Controls

  4. Turn on Parental Controls toggle

  5. Make a PIN code (dont lose it or you’re stuck lol)

  6. Choose what to restrict – apps, games, movies etc

  7. Set age limits or filters

That’s it! Now kid cant download stuff not ok for their age.


How to Enable Parental Controls on iPhone/iPad

  1. Open Settings

  2. Tap Screen Time

  3. Tap Turn On Screen Time, then Continue

  4. Select This is my child’s device

  5. Setup Downtime, App Limits, Content & Privacy Restrictions

  6. Make a Screen Time passcode so kid cant change settings

Done! You can now control what apps and content your kid can use.

  1. Open Settings

  3. Click Add a family member and make a child account
